UPSC Prelims 2021 Exam Paper analysis



  • The Union Public Service Commission(UPSC) has conducted UPSC Civil Services examination 2021 today, Oct 10 in two session in India.
  • In the Fore Noon session paper, Questions are asked from current affairs including from the Pandemic, Indo-China Partnership.
  • In the After Noon Session, The CSAT or GS-II paper conducted for which no cut off marks. So, Candidate only need to secure 33% Mark to qualify the CSAT or GS-II  paper.
  • If we talk about questions asked, the Factual Question are dominated and 70 percent questions are tough.
  • The questions asked from Science, Medieval History , Environment were tough as usual. So, Candidate must apply concept and application to answer the question.
  • Direct questions were asked from Class 11 and Class 12 NCERT books from Politics such as India's Constitutional status India and Devi Lal.
  • Approximately, About nine questions were asked from Medieval Indian History. Surprisingly, For the first time since two decades, Questions are asked from Sport.
  • Science and Questions are asked based on Current events and issues like Types of Vires and Bacteria.
  • Regarding the UPSC prelims 2021 cut off mark, The Cut-off would be higher as number of seats (712) are reduced this year as compared to last year(795).
